Hunchback of Notre Dame
Two narrators, Souffle and his hyperactive younger brother, Cheese, relate this adaptation of Victor Hugo's French literary classic, and provide comic relief to this otherwise serious story.
Auditons will be January 8 and 9 at 6:30PM
For children who will auditioning for the first time, we offer complimentary audition classes the Saturday morning before auditions at 10:00AM. These classes are designed to help your child know what to expect and help understand how the audition process works.
About our auditions...
We specifically require the directors that we select to cast children new to theater and new to our theater in every show. There are no exceptions to this requirement.
To make this attainable for new kids we make the auditions easy. All a kid has to do is show up, read (if they can - if not we’ll help with that too) from the script that we provide and do a little acting so the director can see their skill level.
We don’t want this to be intimidating so we carefully set up the process so that everyone has the greatest chance of having a positive experience. The mission of Theater Arts for Children is to make a "Dramatic Impact in Children’s Lives".
Adults are encouraged to audition as well, as we may have a role for them too!
Auditions for roles in Theater Arts for Children's performances take place as listed on the show's web page.
Please print out an Audition Form . Then fill out the form and bring it with you to your audition.
